  • Due to the extremely demanding terrain configuration (canyon width = 50m, canyon depth = 70 m) it was almost impossible for any other survey method to be applied.
  • As a result of spatial scanning method, a precise and detailed model was produced
  • During the scanning process a 5 cm resolution was used (entire canyon was covered in points at every 5 cm horizontally and vertically).
  • As seen in the photo, the canyon is largely covered in vegetation which was eliminated from the measurement data. The produced model represents the real terrain configuration.
